Read this before you drive up on blocks. Leveling a vehicle on stacked blocks carries real risk of the vehicle rolling, tipping, or a stack collapsing. This tool gives you a number to start from — it does not replace your own judgment, a spotter, or the weight rating printed on your blocks.

1. Estimates Only, Not an Engineering Certification

The RV Leveling Block Calculator's block-per-tire output is a geometric estimate derived from the wheelbase, track width, block height, and tilt angle you provide (or that we auto-fill from our vehicle lookup cache). It does not account for suspension travel and squish, tire sidewall flex, uneven or soft ground, block manufacturer weight ratings, or your specific vehicle's loaded weight and weight distribution. Always re-check level with a real bubble level after driving up, and stop and reassess if a stack feels unstable at any point.

2. Vehicle Lookup Cache Is Unverified

Wheelbase and track width figures in the vehicle lookup cache are seeded from publicly available manufacturer specifications and are best-effort estimates, not verified against your specific trim, options, suspension modifications, or tire/wheel package. Figures may be missing, outdated, or simply wrong for your configuration. Cross-check against your owner's manual or a physical measurement before relying on the output, and use the manual entry fields whenever you're unsure.

3. Physical Risk of Leveling on Blocks

Driving a vehicle up onto stacked leveling blocks involves inherent risk of personal injury and property damage, including but not limited to the vehicle rolling off the blocks, a stack shifting or collapsing under load, or the vehicle exceeding the weight rating of the blocks used. You assume all risk of using leveling blocks and any other equipment referenced by this Service. Follow your leveling block manufacturer's instructions and weight rating, chock a wheel before leaving the vehicle, and do not exceed a stack height you consider stable — the Service's suggestion to "find a flatter spot" when the stack gets tall (more than four blocks) is a safety recommendation, not an arbitrary cutoff.

Nothing in this Service constitutes engineering, safety, or professional advice. If you have doubts about your specific vehicle's suspension limits, GVWR, or ground clearance, consult your vehicle's manufacturer or a qualified mechanic.
