1. Acceptance of Terms

Will My Rig Scrape? ("the Service") is a free, browser-based departure angle calculator published by S'more's Outdoors ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Service helps you estimate whether your rig's rear overhang will scrape crossing a steep transition, either from a departure angle you already know or from a rear overhang length and ground clearance you provide, together with the grade of the transition you select or enter. It reports a likely-clears, cutting-it-close, or likely-scrapes verdict based on the angle margin.

The Service requires no account, no signup, and no payment. All calculations happen in your browser.

3. Estimates Only — No Warranty of Accuracy

Every number the Service produces is an estimate derived entirely from the figures you type in or select. The Service has no knowledge of your actual vehicle, trailer, suspension, loading, or the real transition you intend to cross. You are solely responsible for measuring your own rig accurately and for getting out and looking (GOAL) at any unfamiliar transition before committing to cross it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service to submit malicious code or attempt to disrupt it; (b) frame, copy, or redistribute Will My Rig Scrape? as your own product without permission; or (c) misrepresent Service output as a certified measurement or professionally engineered advice.

5. Third-Party Links, Advertising & Affiliate Links

The Service may display advertising (including Google AdSense) and affiliate links (including Amazon Associates links) to third-party products such as angle finders, leveling ramps, and backup cameras. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links, at no additional cost to you. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the availability, pricing, or content of third-party sites you reach through these links.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, and the "Will My Rig Scrape?" and "S'more's Outdoors" names are owned by S'more's Outdoors. Any vehicle or trailer make and model names you may encounter in the Service's examples or documentation are trademarks of their respective manufacturers; their use is solely descriptive and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY CALCULATION WILL BE ACCURATE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE, TRAILER, OR THE ACTUAL TRANSITION YOU CROSS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, S'MORE'S OUTDOORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROPERTY OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING SCRAPING, HIGH-CENTERING, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL, OR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE OCCURRING WHILE CROSSING A TRANSITION EVALUATED WITH THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $0, AS THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

9. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which S'more's Outdoors operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
