S'more's Outdoors tools produce estimates derived from the values you enter and, where offered, reference data we maintain from publicly available sources. Outputs do not account for the full variability of real equipment — trim levels, options, wear, modifications, temperature, altitude, and manufacturing tolerances all shift the true numbers. Nothing on this site constitutes engineering, safety, legal, or professional advice.

The Project S'mores build log records what we did to one specific vehicle. It is not a set of instructions and not a recommendation that you do the same. Several steps carry real risk — removing seats and fitting airbag emulators, electrical work, load-bearing structures inside a moving vehicle — and some may affect your vehicle's warranty, insurance, inspection status, or crash protection. If you copy anything from it, you do so on your own judgment and at your own risk, and you should confirm the consequences for your own vehicle and jurisdiction first.

Camp Near the Big Events — some event dates are projected from the event's usual pattern and marked as estimated, not confirmed by the organizer or by us; distances are straight-line; verify the date and venue on the official site before traveling
Camp Food & Supply Planner — quantities are planning estimates, not nutritional or food-safety guidance; fuel, fire, and refrigeration are handled at your own risk and per your equipment's instructions

3. Reference Data Is Unverified

Vehicle dimensions, appliance wattages, BTU ratings, and similar reference values used by the tools are best-effort estimates seeded from public sources and are not verified against your specific equipment. The campground records behind the trip-planning tools are a public export from Recreation.gov, reduced and re-published by us without site-by-site verification; they cover federal land only, and campgrounds close, change, and re-survey their sites. The events list is compiled from public sources, and roughly half its dates are projected from each event's historical pattern rather than announced; those are marked as estimated. Cross-check against your owner's manual, data plates, and stickers before relying on any output.
